YBOA Inaugural Winter Nationals coming
If Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) has their way, Santa will be bringing Polk County businesses some extra presents after Christmas.
The inaugural YBOA Winter Nationals will call Polk County home from Dec. 27 to 30, utilizing at least 10 different basketball courts around the county for four solid days of hoop competition.
“This tournament not only wants to draw the best teams from Tampa and Orlando to play, but is marketing primarily toward Northern climates,” said Josh Hicks, PCSM Sales and Events Representative. “They are targeting this as a Winter Vacation, or even extended Winter stay for folks already here.”
YBOA is also seeking other youth-oriented business to partner with for the event.
