Welcome new PCTSM staff members
Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing has beefed up its starting lineup.
Added to the staff was Matt Prewitt. Matt will work as a sales and events representative with PCTSM after spending five years with the St. Pete/Clearwater Sports Commission. While having both national and international recruiting experience, Matt’s primary focus will be indoor sports.
A graduate of Kentucky Christian University, he holds the unique distinction of being the first NAIA football player invited to participate in the East-West Shrine Game.
Additionally, Kevin Smith, formerly with the St. Pete/Clearwater Sports Commission, is also lending a hand to Polk County. The managing director of OnPoint Sports Strategies, LLC in St. Petersburg, Kevin’s work as a contractor with PCTSM is aimed to help develop the international market for Polk County.
