Stars of tomorrow to take the field

Teams from around the nation will gather in December to take part in a showcase that offers amateur athletes a chance to hone their skills against other elite players.

For more than 34 years, the World Amateur Baseball Association (WABA) has helped high school and college players who desire to reach the next level of competition. Known and respected by college coaches and professional baseball scouts, the management at WABA focuses on developing player skills and experience through participation in tournaments, camps, clinics and showcases.

From Dec. 8 to Dec. 10, teams will take the field at the Chain O’ Lakes Complex in Winter Haven, the one-time home of the Major League Baseball Cleveland Indians and, before that, the Boston Red Sox.
