Once again, Mark Jackson took to the podium at the annual combined meeting of two of Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing’s longest clients, reinforcing one of the departments longest and most profitable relationships.

It was the 10th time that Jackson, the director of tourism and sports for PCTSM, emceed the banquet for the Independent Sports Association (ISA) and Senior Softball USA in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, PCTSM was in Las Vegas to do more than emcee. Jackson, along with Josh Hicks, sales and events representative, met with more than 20 national and state directors of various sports events contained under the ISA umbrella.

“When it comes to sports and special events, this is relationship-based sales,” said Jackson. “ISA and Senior Softball USA may be two of our biggest clients, but over the years we’ve become close. Softball was, is and will be one of the legs PCTSM stands on for years to come, and Senior Softball USA is a great client.”
