Modrall accepts social media position
Laura Modrall is the new graphic design and social media guru for Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing.
Modrall previously worked for PCTSM as the Visitor Services Business Development Supervisor at the Visitor Information Center in Davenport.
Bartow born-and-bred, Modrall is a Polk State and Flager College graduate whose unique portfolio of communications skills runs the gamut from graphic design and social media to on-stage performances in both dramas and musicals.
“I’ve been performing since I was 8-years-old,” said Modrall, who has performed on stages throughout Polk County. “My favorite parts are the comedic roles.”
Modrall recently won a 2018 Pierrot Award for best support actress in a musical for her role in Legally Blonde. The awards honor the outstanding performers, production staff and back stage volunteers of Theatre Winter Haven.
