Miss Florida Golf Classic held in Polk for the first time
Contestants, organizers and event supporters gathered Monday, April 26, to hold a successful Miss Florida Golf Classic scr
amble, which benefits the Miss Florida Scholarship Fund. It was the first time the golf event was held in Polk County.
Thanks to our relationship with Miss Florida staff, the event, which featured numerous foursome playing in a scramble format, was recruited to the Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland from Orlando. After 18 holes, dinner and a silent auction rounded off the event.
PCTSM assisted the Miss Florida staff with logistics as well as the manpower needed to complete such a tournament.
