Colombian based journalists explore Polk County
Journalists from Colombia-based Travesia TV and Radio recently completed a leg of their Florida press junket in Polk County. Travesia is the first Spanish tourism show to broadcast nationally on the Caracol network in its own country as well as throughout the world on the Internet. Besides TV and radio, the company also offers its own travel service.
Touring the best that Polk County has to offer were on-air personality Maritza Mantilla Gonzalez and photojournalist Juan Baraya. Their Central Florida adventure included stops at the Elite Cable Park and the Cabana Club RV Resort in Auburndale, Safari Wilderness and Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales and the LEGOLAND Florida Resort and Water Park in Winter Haven and a tour of the Chain of Lakes thanks to Living Water Pontoon Boat Cruises before finishing off the adventurous weekend at Westgate River Ranch Resort.
Immediate return was plentiful on social media as posts were made from Safari Wilderness, Circle B, Bok Tower and LEGOLAND Florida Resort. Further exposure will come on both radio and TV.
