Volleyball

With numerous high school and college programs along with annual tournaments held throughout the year, it is evident that volleyball is an admirable sport in Polk County. Past events have included Southeastern University’s Volleyball Fire Tournament, FHSAA Girls Volleyball Competitions, the annual Lakeland Invitational Gold Championship, Action Volleyball tournaments, Sunshine State Volleyball Games and the NCAA National Championship Qualifier Beach Volleyball Tournament.

Aside from high school gyms across the county, volleyball events are held at Polk State College, Florida Southern College, the Kelly Recreation Center and the Lakeland Center.
