Table Tennis

Polk County serves as host year-round to some of the top table tennis events in the state of Florida.  The City of Lakeland annually hosts a series of table tennis tournaments throughout the calendar year, including the Florida Orange Blossom Table Tennis Series which consists of:  the Central Florida Spring Open, the Central Florida Summer Open, the Central Florida Fall Open, and the Central Florida Winter Open.  The Sunshine State Games Table Tennis competition has been hosted in Polk County since 2007.

Simpson Park Community Center, located in Lakeland, is one of the top venues for table tennis in the state of Florida.   Simpson Park has two multi-purpose rooms, a game room, and a gymnasium that serve as host to numerous events throughout the year, also including tournament and league play for people of all ages.  The facility is also home to the Florida Orange Blossom Table Tennis Series.  For more information, please visit http://floridaorangeblossomtabletennisseries.pbwiki.com/
