About Southern Smokers BBQ Competition

The Southern Smokers BBQ Competition kicks off Polk County’s competitive barbeque festival season on Saturday, January 21 from 10 am to 5 pm in Dundee at the Dundee Ridge (Winn Dixie) Plaza. Sanctioned by the Florida BBQ Association, a maximum of 45 teams are expected to compete.

Southern Smokers BBQ Competition will feature live entertainment, crafts, and FREE admission.

Professional Division

1st place prize $500
2nd place prize $250
3rd place prize $150

Backyard Division

Winners are awarded trophies and a $100.
