Two weeks of athletic and recreational competitive events for men and women 50 and years and over.
Athletic and Recreational Events
Individual, partner and team events include: Badminton, Basketball 3 on 3, Basketball Shooting, Billiards 8 and 9 Ball, Bocce, Party and Duplicate Bridge, Checkers, Chess, Cribbage, Ballroom and Social Dancing, Square Dancing, Darts, Euchre, Field Events, Fishing, Fly Casting, 18 Hole Golf, Putt & Chip, Horseshoes, Kayak, Lawn Bowling, Pepper, Pickleball, Punt Pass & Kick, Powerlifting, Racquetball, 5K Road Race, Scrabble, Senior Smarts, Rifle Shooting, Trap Shooting, Skeet Shooting, Shuffleboard, Softball, Sudoku, Swimming, Table Tennis, Track and Walking.
Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded by age divisions.
Schedule of Events
Event times and locations will posted at a later date. The Games end with a free Closing Celebration at The Lakeland Center featuring entertainment, special awards, goody bags, door prizes and more.
Florida Sports Foundation
Polk Senior Games is sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation and is a qualifying event for the Florida International Senior Games & State Championships.
Cost: $10 entry fee for first event; $3 for each additional event up to a $28 maximum. Some events have additional fees. All participants receive a specially designed T-shirt. Registration begins in January and the deadline to enter is February 8th.
